PWBA Tour Championship, Junior Gold Championships and Intercollegiate Championships, US Open Included in New National TV Package

The United States Bowling Congress has reached an agreement with CBS Sports Network to televise 10 major championship bowling events in 2015, highlighted by the Bowlmor AMF U.S. Open, providing a new level of national television coverage for the sport.

Live coverage on CBS Sports Network also includes the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour Championship. The rapidly growing Junior Gold Championships presented by Storm, Roto Grip and Master will be televised for the first time, while the XBowling Intercollegiate Championships return to the Network.

"This television package demonstrates the future for the sport we can build when everyone in bowling comes together," United States Bowling Congress Executive Director Chad Murphy said. "This was only possible thanks to the collective leadership of the boards at the International Bowling Campus, commitment from our industry partners and support from parents and bowlers."

The Bowlmor AMF U.S. Opens and PWBA Tour Championship will be televised live on Sundays, beginning on Sunday, Sept. 6. The schedule calls for the XBowling Intercollegiate Championships to air as a four-telecast series on Mondays in May, while Junior Gold Championships will air as a three-telecast series Tuesdays in August. The complete television schedule is listed below.

"When you look at this package, we have exposure to bowling at all levels," Bowling Proprietors' Association of America Executive Director Frank DeSocio said. "From our youth programs to college to the professional level, these outstanding events will receive great national attention."
