Arrangement to Become Effective Immediately

The United States Olympic Committee today announced that The J.M. Smucker Company will be an official sponsor of the 2014 and 2016 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams in Sochi, Russia, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Four brands - Smucker's, Folgers, Jif, and Smucker's Uncrustables Sandwiches - will activate within the following product categories: packaged fruit and nut spreads, packaged ground or whole bean coffee, and packaged refrigerated/frozen hand-held sandwiches.

Smucker's sponsorship of the USOC is effective immediately.

In addition to financial support, all Smucker participating brands will provide athletes and coaches at the U.S. Olympic Training Centers and additional team venues with a variety of delicious food products on a daily basis. The USOC has OTCs in Chula Vista, Calif., Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lake Placid, N.Y., and high performance training centers with nutrition services for U.S. athletes at every Olympic Games.

Smucker is already developing U.S. activation plans around the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. TheSmucker's, Folgers, Jif and Smucker's Uncrustables brands will participate as associate sponsors of Team USA's Road to Sochi campaign.
