Grand Opening, Ribbon-Cutting Planned for June

Camas Meadows Golf Club in Camas, Washington, is excited to announce the June 2013 grand opening of their remodeled driving range to include a brand new 6,000 square foot putting green and “Short Game” area.  “Our new “Short Game” area is the perfect place for golfers to practice their putting, chipping, pitching and even bunker play,” says PGA Professional and General Manager Chris Garrison.  The new addition to the public golf course enhances the already largest grass tee among Southwest Washington’s golf courses.

At 300 yards long, the practice facility features a fully covered, heated and well lit area making it ideal for golfers all year round and even after dark.  An official ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 25th beginning at 4:00pm, with ribbon cutting at 4:30pm and festivities continuing until 7:00pm. For more information or to RSVP to attend contact Sherrie Walling at sherrie.walling@camasmeadows.com or by phone at 360.833.2000 ext. 119.

Camas Meadows boasts an impressive 330 acres, with 90 of those acres dedicated to an 18-hole Championship Public Course which includes 50 white crushed limestone bunkers, natural wetlands and towering trees.  This course prides itself as being “built as nature intended”.

Locally owned and operated, Camas Meadows is open to the public year round and serves as host to many local area tournaments.  The property features an on-site restaurant and lounge, in house catering and indoor or outdoor meeting and banquet facilities for groups of 5 to over 200.
