Lisa Cicitto of the Connecticut Convention Center Named New President of SKAL International Connecticut Chapter

The SKAL International Connecticut Chapter has inducted its new president, Lisa Cicitto.  During her one-year term, Lisa will conduct monthly board meetings.  The executive Board is a network of hospitality and travel professionals that strive to improve connections between existing members and continuously work to attract new members to keep the club strong and business growing. 

 SKAL is an international travel organization that was created between Sweden and France in 1932, aiming to promote the creation of goodwill and friendship in travel and transportation circles throughout the world.  Over the years it has continued to grow and has become an active, worldwide organization.  The SKAL International Connecticut Chapter was founded on March 23, 1964 and is made up of travel, tourism and hospitality professionals from all over the state.

 Currently, Lisa is the Corporate Sales Manager at the Connecticut Convention Center.  The Center is owned by the state of Connecticut and is managed by Waterford Venue Services, with headquarters located in Waterford, CT.  Lisa has been with Waterford since 2010, previously serving as Catering Sales Manager at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley International Airport.
