Alan I. Rothenberg, a prominent figure in the Los Angeles sports and business communities, has been named Interim Chairman of the Los Angeles Sports Council, it was announced today.

Rothenberg replaces Scott London, formerly of KPMG, who resigned from his position earlier this month as Chairman of the Sports Council board of directors.
