Oct 23, 2015

More than 60 collegiate cycling teams have flocked to West Virginia's Snowshoe Mountain for the 2015 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships this weekend.

The event, slated for Oct. 23-25, will crown national champions in the short-track, cross-country, downhill, dual slalom, and team relay events. At the end of the weekend, overall individual and team omnium winners will be named.

Last year, the University of Colorado and Brevard College claimed the overall bragging rights in divisions I and II. They're ready to fight in defense of those titles in 2015, but they'll have to face strong competition from last year's second-place schools, Marian University and Colorado Mesa University. Check out a complete list of 2015 competitors here.
