The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) announced today the promotion of Corey Kearsley to director of sales for the non-profit destination marketing organization.

“The Tualatin Valley is full of terrific people and organizations that offer unique and memorable experiences for business and leisure travelers,” said Kearsley. “I feel fortunate to serve as an extension of their marketing efforts and look forward to working with more of them to grow the economic impact of visitors on Washington County.”

Kearsley brings several years of sports industry experience, including 16 years working on the business side of professional sports.

Born and raised in Gresham, Ore., Kearsley graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and the United States Sports Academy with a graduate degree in sport management. He is active in myriad sports and participates with the Voices for the Performing Arts Foundation in Sherwood.
