Looking to host your event in the Seattle or Pacific Northwest area? Snohomish County, Washington, is just 15 miles north of Seattle, less than 100 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia and is the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Bordered on the west by the calm waters of Puget Sound and to the east by the magnificently rugged Cascade Mountains, it is the perfect backdrop for your sporting events.

Snohomish County (SnoCo) provides a variety of opportunities for sports event planners seeking to bring their event here. Snohomish County Sports Commission will help event planners with funding opportunities, event services and logistics, hotel accommodations and venue selections to make your event successful. SnoCo offers a range of venues ranging from snow and ice, lakes and rivers to playfields and sport courts.

Get your game on at top-notch venues like the Angels of the Winds Arena, Meadowdale Playfields, Walt Price Fitness Center or Lake Tye Park. Angels of the Winds Arena is home to the Western Hockey League’s Everett Silvertips Hockey team. The arena has two NHL-size ice rinks with a seating capacity of 8,300, and a 13,000-sq.-ft. events center is in the same building with additional meeting space for any sporting events. Angels of the Winds has hosted 2008 Skate America, 2012 and 2016 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, 2017 USA Curling National Championships and will host the 2018 Skate America in October.

Meadowdale Playfields has recently been renovated to two all-turf synthetic multi-purpose fields and three all-turf synthetic infield softball/baseball fields. With these field upgrades, the playfields can now host both youth baseball and fastpitch tournaments on five fields and adult softball tournaments on three fields with 300’ outfields. The multi-purpose fields are lined for soccer and lacrosse as well.

Walt Price Fitness Center at Everett Community College is a 2,200 seat-capacity gymnasium, which can host many indoor tournaments. The fitness center has hosted basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball tournaments. With the 1,000 parking spaces on campus and restaurants in walking distance, the Walt Price Fitness Center is a great venue for any youth tournament. The venue has hosted the 2016-2018 NWAC Men & Women Basketball Championships, 2017 USA Gymnastics Men’s Region 2 Championships, 2017 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Men & Washington State Men Championships and 2014-15 USA Gymnastics Optional Championships.

Looking for a unique and versatile outdoor water venue? Lake Tye Park has a 42-acre lake, which has hosted the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour for the five of the last seven years and will host the 2018 Nautique WWA National Championships presented by Rockstar. Since 2011, the park has been home to the USA Triathlon Youth & Junior Elite Race Series and the Lake Tye Triathlon.

Discover SnoCo’s miles of shoreline, peaceful lakes and streams, natural scenic beauty and plenty of outdoor adventure: river rafting, float trips, water skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, hot air ballooning, etc. If adventurous activities or the great outdoors don’t entice, maybe shopping at the Seattle Premium Outlets or visiting the antique capital of the west in historic downtown Snohomish is more your flavor.

Not to miss during your visit is Seattle’s ultimate aviation experience, the Paine Field Aviation District, where the past, present and future of flight coincide in five unique aviation attractions. Paine Field is also home to the largest building in the world, Boeing’s 747, 767, 777 and 787 plant, which offers daily tours at the Future of Flight Aviation Center and Boeing Tour.

SnoCo is home to endless activities for kids and those who are kids at heart. Watch orca whales frolic via the Puget Sound Express, Seattle's premiere whale watching tour. Strap in for high-flying adventure at High Trek Adventures zipline & ropes course park. Explore the award-winning interactive Imagine Children’s Museum or eat breakfast with the baby farm animals at Forest Park Animal Farm and Petting Zoo, both in Everett.
