USA Gymnastics XCEL Regional Invitational Coming Back to Snohomish County

Northwest Aerials, Kirkland-based gymnastics club, is hosting the USA Gymnastics 2019 XCEL Regional Invitational, April 27-28, 2019, at the Gary D. Weikel Event Center – Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington. Approximately 400 gymnasts from six states; Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii. Saturday competition times are 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm and Sunday competition times are 9 am and 11:40 am.

Come & watch the best XCEL gymnasts compete for the title of Regional XCEL Invitational Champion. Admission: Adults: $10 per day; Child $5 per day.

This is the third year in a row that Northwest Aerials has hosted this gymnastics meet. With Northwest Aerials’ commitment to hosting gymnastics meets within Snohomish County, the Snohomish County Sports Commission is committed to promoting the sport of gymnastics and an opportunity to showcase Snohomish County as a destination for gymnastics meets.

“We are excited to be hosting the meet in Snohomish County and to be at the Evergreen Fairgrounds. This is the first time that we have hosted a gymnastics meet at the Gary D. Weikel Event Center”, states Patti Gable, Northwest Aerials owner. “We are grateful for the wonderful support of the Tourism Promotion Area Grant Fund and the Snohomish County Sports Commission as with their support we are able to host this regional gymnastics meet.”

“Northwest Aerials is a great partner in making Snohomish County a sports destination in the Puget Sound Region”, states Tammy Dunn, sports development director of the Snohomish County Sports Commission. “We wish all the gymnasts ‘Good Luck’ as they compete at the regional invitational.”
