Warm up your leg muscles and gear up for the most intense 400 meters of your life. On September 15, the fourth annual Red Bull 400 returns to the iconic Utah Olympic Park in Park City. With a height gain of nearly 140 meters (460 ft) over 400 meters (1312 ft), this pure, uphill sprint will challenge competitor’s speed, endurance and determination as they race to the summit of the breathtaking 2002 Winter Games ski jump.

After 36 stops over the past seven years, Red Bull 400 in Park City is part of a 17 ski jump tour across Asia, Europe and North America, that puts racers from every continent under the most grueling physical pressure they’ll ever face. The Park City edition boasts the highest elevation (2,126m above sea level) of all venues and the early Fall timing ensures positive weather forecasting for a successful event. The official Red Bull 400 World Championships will be held for the second time in August, at Bischofshofen in Austria.
Today, ambitious athletes from all over the world come to join Red Bull 400, and can participate in two main categories: full-distance solo for men and women, and a co-ed relay (4×100 for men and mixed gender). More information is available here.
Looking to compete? Registration is currently open online and competitors can sign up now. Spectators are welcome to cheer on and support racers at the base of the ski jump in addition to designated spots along side the course. Normal activities at the park will remain open and food from local vendors will be available.
