The Runners' Day of Service is on June 5, National Running Day. According to a report in Running USA's e-newsletter, the day will center around a run in the early morning and then the rest of the day will be spent giving back to the Austin, Texas, community in various ways.

Training groups, stores, event organizers, and other communities are invited to organize their constituents to do a service project in Austin. Runner's Day of Action is about giving back, but also to show that runners have a positive impact on the community beyond health and fitness, and even beyond directly benefiting charities with donations or fundraising.
