The Fields at Saluda Shoals Park
With six soccer, lacrosse and multi-use fields, six clay and four hard surface tennis courts, The Fields is sought after for both tournaments and run/walk events. This athletic complex is located within Saluda Shoals Park, a 400-acre riverfront park with miles of paved and unpaved trails, as well as canoeing, kayaking, tubing, biking, Saluda Splash and more.

Seven Oaks Park
Seven Oaks is one of the Midlands’ premier baseball venues. The park’s six natural turf baseball diamonds include four youth, one intermediate and one regulation-size facility in addition to three multi-use fields. The SOP is also home to a 30,000 square-foot facility with 3 full gymnasiums, fitness area, indoor walking track, senior center, dance studio, art studio and meeting rooms.

Crooked Creek Park
Crooked Creek is a thriving park in the heart of Lake Murray country. Its three youth and three intermediate baseball diamonds, and three multi-use fields make it well suited for baseball, soccer, lacrosse and rugby tournaments. The park also includes six hard surface tennis courts for competition play or clinics and a 27-hole disc golf course. Crooked Creek Park is a state-of-the-art recreation complex offering users many fun and recreational outlets including a 53,000 square-foot community center with full gymnasium, racquetball courts, fitness areas, indoor walking track and meeting rooms.

Melvin Park
Melvin Park is Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission’s newest park. The park is located less than a mile from Crooked Creek Park and features four regulation-size baseball diamonds, two multi-use fields and eight tennis courts. Guests can explore and relax in the 71-acre park, which includes a refreshing splash pad.

The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission exists to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of the district through the development of recreation programs that promote a lifestyle of wellness, physical activities and cultural experiences for all ages. ICRC owns and operates two community centers, Crooked Creek Park in Chapin and Seven Oaks Park in Irmo. The agency also owns and operates Saluda Shoals Park, a 350-acre environmental park located along the Saluda River in Columbia.
