New Touch Table by ACTIVE Network Will Allow World of Little League Museum Visitors to Touch, See and Play Like Never Before

This summer, at the World of Little League Museum, located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, visitors will be able to learn about any of the 7,000+ baseball leagues in roughly 90 countries around the world by tapping photos, playing fun trivia games and sending messages, in a unique interactive exhibit powered by the ACTIVE Network, Inc. (NYSE:ACTV), the Official Online League Management Provider of Little League® Baseball and Softball.

“When we started the process of designing the new museum, we knew it needed to have the very latest technology,” Stephen D. Keener, President and Chief Executive Officer of Little League Baseball and Softball, said. “We also wanted anyone in the world to be able to take part in the new museum, even if they could not be here. ACTIVE, our longtime sponsor and supporter, stepped up to provide us with a one-of-a-kind experience that only they can deliver.”

On a table with an interactive, capacitive touch screen the size of two ping pong tables, visitors can check out leagues from around the world by tapping photos, history details or special notes left by the league. Visitors can even play a fun Little League-themed trivia game.

The Global Connections Touch Table includes basic information from every local Little League in the world, all facilitated by ACTIVE’s eteamz platform. Thousands of Little League members use ACTIVE’s eteamz’ do-it-yourself websites to further enhance their league and team management. With eteamz, local league volunteers use Little League branded site templates, create an electronic league boundary map that populates the Little League Baseball and Softball League Finder, and enjoy integrations not possible with any other website provider.

“As we approach Little League’s 75th anniversary, this museum showcases the incredible commitment the organization has made to implementing innovative technologies to improve how players, coaches and volunteers experience America’s Greatest Pastime,” said Eric McCue, general manager of sports at ACTIVE Network. “ACTIVE has powered Little League for more than a decade by making it easier for local Little Leagues to conduct all aspects of their league management, but the development of the Global Connections Touch Table is by far our most exciting venture yet. We hope baseball enthusiasts of all ages enjoy all that this museum has to offer.”

“Our new museum will be very much an interactive one,” Lance Van Auken, Vice President and Executive Director of the Little League Museum. “We expect the Global Connections Touch Table – Powered by ACTIVE Network to be one of the most popular exhibits we have. For that, we are grateful to ACTIVE Network for being such a great partner with us in this project.”

The World of Little League will have its grand re-opening on Saturday, June 15, and will be open every day of the week, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. General admission will be $5. Children under 4 years old are admitted free, and children 5-12 are admitted for $2. The senior admission fee is $3, for those 62 and older.
