Butler County Announces Details of High School Football Event

Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau is teaming up with Butler County Community College as the Presenting Sponsor of the “BC3 Season Kickoff Special” and is the Naming Sponsor of the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau Friday Night Rivals Halftime Shows on WPNT 22 The Point for 2018 and 2019.

The Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau's Season Kickoff Special and Friday Night Rivals Halftime Shows will consist of 10 halftime shows running from August 24 through October 26, 2018 and 10 shows running from August 23 through October 25, 2019.
 
The weekly 20-minute Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau Friday Night Rivals Halftime Show features one-on-one interviews with representatives from Butler County school districts, coaches, highlights from the first half of the football game, sights and sounds of bands and fans and promotional content featuring attractions within Butler County.
Participants in the Halftime Show Include: 

• Butler Area School District

• Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School

• Freeport Area School District

• Karns City Area School District,

• Mars Area School District

• Moniteau School District

• Seneca Valley School District

• Slippery Rock Area School District

• South Butler County School District

The BC3 Season Kickoff Special presented by Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau featured exciting WPIAL football when Butler Area High School visited North Hills High School on August 24, 2018 on WPNT 22 The Point. 

Beginning August 31, a livestream of the football games and Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau Friday Night Rivals Halftime Show will be available on www.22thepoint.com along with an archive of pre-recorded segments
