Winston-Salem has proudly hosted the Powerade State Games of North Carolina, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Basketball Tournament and NCAA Division II and III Indoor Track and Field Championships.  And every August, Winston-Salem enjoys world-wide attention as the host of Winston-Salem Open, the ATP World Tour 250 tennis event, hosting such international tennis stars as John Isner, France's Julien Benneteau and Andy Roddick to name but a few.
