Strider Bikes, known for activating one-of-a-kind bike events for pint-sized riders with the global Strider Cup race series, has announced a new recreational event, the Strider Discovery Ride. Discovery Rides offer Strider families across the world opportunities and exclusive access to unique venues. Charlotte Motor Speedway is hosting the first U.S. Discovery Ride November 17, 2018. All registration fees will benefit Charlotte Speedway Children’s Charities.

The Discovery Ride at the Charlotte Motor Speedway will offer the entire family a bucket list experience, allowing them to see the speedway much differently from a spectator from the grandstands.

Strider riders ages 3 to 6 years old will navigate the quarter-mile track on their Strider 12 and Strider 14x Sport bikes to various stations where they’ll learn about and discover all things NASCAR. The day offers family memories that will last a lifetime, from interactive pit stops, hearing the roar up close of a variety of race cars, touring fire trucks and other first responder vehicles, and even doing a little racing of their own on their Strider Bikes.

This exclusive Strider Discovery Ride at the Charlotte Motor Speedway will run from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is limited to 100 Strider riders (one registrant, two parents, and any siblings under 6 years old per registrant). Registration is open for children 3 to 6 years old on a Strider 12 or a Strider 14x Sport (balance bike mode only) and is available beginning August 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. MDT at www.StriderBikes.com/Charlotte.

Registration is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The fee to register is $48.88 per registrant, with 100 percent of the registration fee benefiting the Charlotte Speedway Children’s Charities organization.

The Strider Discovery Ride joins other Strider events held to encourage a love of bicycling by young children. The most popular Strider event is the Strider Cup series, a collection of races held worldwide for children ages 6 and younger. In 2018 Strider held a Strider Cup race at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. In 2019, Strider plans to return to the NASCAR Hall of Fame with the event date yet to be determined.
