Passionately Pink Pong Set to Paint USATT Nationals Pink

14 Dec, 2015

The 2015 USA Table Tennis National Championships just got “painted pink.” PONGSTARZ, in partnership with USATT, Caesars Entertainment and Cornilleau announced today that the inaugural “Passionately Pink Pong: a Social Ping Pong Event to Benefit Passionately Pink®, a Program of Susan G. Komen” will take place as part of National Championship Week on the evening of Friday, Dec. 18 at The LINQ Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Hosted at the all-new Vortex roof deck of the reimagined LINQ Hotel & Casino, the fundraiser will overlook the heart of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and offer an elevated view of the world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller. Open to the public, the event will feature a live DJ, pink ping pong tables, pink paddles and an opportunity drawing for a wide variety of prizes. Guests are encouraged to pick up a paddle and play from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. under the bright (pink) lights of the Vortex rooftop. Standard tickets cost $25 each and include one complimentary beverage. VIP tickets, featuring early admission and an open bar from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., cost $100 per person. All net proceeds from Passionately Pink Pong will benefit Passionately Pink, a Program of Susan G. Komen.

Advanced tickets can be purchased by visiting usatt.org or calling 719-866-4583 (ext. 5). Beginning Dec. 13, tickets will also be sold on-site at the USATT National Championships, which take place from Dec. 14 through Dec. 19  in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Walk-in guests to the event are also welcome.

“PONGSTARZ is proud to support Passionately Pink Pong with its’ partners and Susan G. Komen for a Cure.  We aim to ensure that your participation goes a long way to make a difference in the lives of others, while enabling the groundbreaking research needed to end breast cancer.”

“USA Table Tennis is so excited to work with Kim and her team to include Passionately Pink Pong our National Championship week,” added Gordon Kaye, CEO of USA Table Tennis. “While USATT’s events generally highlight the more competitive side of the sport, Passionately Pink Pong adds a more relaxed social flavor to the week. It’s going to be a lot of fun for a great cause!”

“Susan G. Komen Southern Nevada could not be more excited about this event!”, says Stephanie Kirby, Executive Director of Komen Southern Nevada.  “Besides being a huge fan of the game, it’s such an incredibly fun way to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.  We are so grateful to Gordon Kaye and the team at USATT, Caesars Entertainment and PONGSTARZ for choosing to incorporate Susan G. Komen into this fabulous event!”
