Dauphin, Winnipeg Selected to Host 2014-15 Regional Events

Hockey Manitoba has awarded host bids to Winnipeg and Dauphin respectively for the 2015 Western Canada Bantam Championship and the 2015 TELUS Cup West Regional, both held April 2-5 2015.

Hockey Winnipeg will host the Western Canada Bantam Championship featuring the top Bantam AAA teams from Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, plus an additional team from the host province. The host team for the event will be the Winnipeg Warriors of the Hockey Winnipeg Bantam 1 AAA league.  Winnipeg last hosted the Western Canada Bantam Championship in 2011 at MTS Iceplex.

Dauphin and the Parkland Rangers will host the TELUS Cup West Regional where the top Midget AAA teams from Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, Saskatchewan, and a host team will compete for a spot in the 2015 TELUS Cup - National Midget Championship.  Dauphin has recently played host to a couple of high-profile event being the 2010 RBC Cup - National Jr.A Championship, and the 2014 Western Canada Cup both at Credit Union Place.
