Global Spectrum has recently added a new member to their sales team. Kathryn Coble, an Owensboro native who recently made the decision to move back to our growing community, has accepted a Sales Manager position at the Owensboro Convention Center. “I am confident that Kathryn will be a great fit in our sales and marketing department,” stated Laura Alexander, Global Spectrum’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Kathryn’s involvement with not-for-profits and her sales background will be valuable assets to the Global Spectrum team.”
Kathryn comes to the convention center with notable sales and communications experience. She was previously the Director of Client Development at Comdata SVS in Louisville, KY. Prior to that, she was an Account Executive at Comdata in Nashville, TN for 5 years. Kathryn is certified in non-profit management through the Center for Non-Profit Management in Dallas, TX, and served on the Executive Board of Directors for NeedLink in Nashville, TN. This experience will be vital, as the Owensboro Convention Center works with many not-for-profit clients.
“Kathryn’s enthusiasm, matched with her extensive sales background will be very beneficial to our team at Global Spectrum,” stated Dean Dennis, Global Spectrum’s General Manager of the Owensboro Convention Center. “We are eager to welcome someone with her knowledge and expertise in the sales industry.”
Kathryn has enjoyed working for Global Spectrum thus far, and feels that she is working with an outstanding sales team. As someone who has recently moved back to Owensboro she is greatly impressed with the growth taking place in our community. Kathryn stated that she feels “honored to be working in our community” as she knows that “Owensboro is a leader in progress among small cities.”
