Kentucky to Host Eddie Ford’s Spring Classic

Kentucky Exposition Center to be Venue for Youth Basketball in late April

As school winds down and traveling youth basketball goes into high gear, teams from across the country will head to Louisville for the annual Eddie Ford’s Spring Classic on Saturday, April 26 – Sunday, April 27 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

This NCAA-certified tournament will be attended by Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, JUCO coaches and various scouting services.  The Spring Classic offers unsigned players the opportunity to showcase their skills to college coaches watching courtside.

Teams will be competing in the Senior-To-Be (17U), Junior-to-Be (16U), Sophomore-To-Be (15U) Freshman-To-Be (14U) and Post Graduate (more than 3 unsigned 2014 graduates) divisions. Each team will compete twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday, with teams advancing to a third game for tournament play. 

Held in the South Wing, games start Saturday at 8:00 a.m. with the last game beginning at 9:00 p.m. Competition begins Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and the last game is at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person (ages 12 and up).  Parking at the Kentucky Exposition Center is $8 per vehicle.
