Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau Vice President Maureen Hofrenning is one of 40 Kansas business leaders selected for the 2011 Kansas Chamber of Commerce Leadership Kansas class.
The six-month program exposes class members to a variety of experts and three-day educational training sessions in six different Kansas communities. Discussion topics include business, education, agriculture, public policy, societal health and development, economics and government. The goal of Leadership Kansas is to inspire people to maintain involvement in the social, business and political fabric of Kansas communities.
The Kansas Chamber of Commerce annually receives 600 applications for Leadership Kansas.
