The Savannah Sports Council is excited to announce that the 2020 AAU Gymnastics National Championship will be held in Savannah, GA, starting June 17 and ending June 21, 2020 at the Savannah Civic Center.
Rockdale Gymnastics will serve as the host organization for the event to help prepare and accommodate the 2,500 gymnasts and their families while they are in town for the Championship.
“The Savannah Sports Council is proud to partner with Rockdale Gymnastics to host the 2020 AAU Gymnastics National Championship here in Savannah. We look forward to welcoming all of these talented athletes and their families to the Hostess City yet again next June for a week full of exciting competition,” Rob Wells, director of the Savannah Sports Council, said.
The event was last held in Savannah in 2009.
There are 21 different competition levels ranging from Level 1-8, Open, Youth Excel, Ruby and Adult.
This event is open to the public.
