Event Set To Kick Off 2017 Mitsubishi Electric Classic

Officials of the Mitsubishi Electric Classic announced the return of the Georgia United Credit Union Executive Women’s Day, a daylong celebration of the power and accomplishments of women in metro Atlanta on Monday, April 10, 2017. The event, beginning at the Infinite Energy Forum in Duluth, will kick off the fifth playing of the prestigious PGA TOUR Champions tournament hosted annually at the renowned TPC Sugarloaf golf course. Georgia United Credit Union Executive Women’s Day will begin with a panel discussion featuring Cynthia Gore, chief people officer for Georgia United Credit Union, Kim Shreckengost, chief operating officer of The John Maxwell Company and Joni Taylor, head women’s basketball coach for the University of Georgia. Sandra Golden, co-host of 680 The Fan’s “The Front Row” will moderate. Following the panel, innovative nonprofit leader, author and motivational speaker Molly Barker will deliver the keynote speech, sponsored by Infiniti of Gwinnett.

Attendees also will be taken to TPC Sugarloaf where they will engage in two interactive breakout sessions: PGA TOUR 101 and GOLF 101. To conclude the day, attendees will gather for Wine Down, a networking event sponsored by Primerica.
