Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame Now Accepting Nominations

The Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the 2009 induction class. To be eligible for induction, nominations must be submitted to the Palm Beach County Sports Commission on or before August 31. The Sports Hall of Fame recognizes Athletes, Coaches, Media, Administrators, Contributors and others you have made an impact to the Palm Beach County Sports World. The criteria for induction specifies that candidates must have been born in Palm Beach County, AND/OR attended school in Palm Beach County, AND/OR have achieved their major accomplishments while living in Palm Beach County.

The Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame have inducted an array of sport legends from Professional Athletes such as Otis Anderson, John Carney, Anthony Carter, Gary Carter, Craig Erickson, Chris Evert, Tommy Hutton, Jack Nicklaus to local hero’s such as Sam Budnyk, Jim Gallagher and John D. McArthur.
