Technology That Progresses Every Level of Skiing and Riding: Earlier this summer, the Woodward at Copper Barn underwent a half-million dollar renovation, which opened the door far beyond snowboards and skis to include skateboards, BMX and slopestyle mountain bike training. All synthetic snow surfaces were replaced with Skatelite, a surface designed for wheels. Renovations have also expanded the offerings for never-evers with additions including a new beginner foam pit with 2-foot and 4-foot jumps and a pump track designed for the development of park skills.

Woodward’s Exclusive Ski and Snowboard Indoor Training Technology: Woodward’s exclusive new Park Snowboards and Skis were specifically designed by Woodward for use on the facility’s new Skatelite surface. Park Snowboards and Park Skis have been put to the test at the most recent Woodward facility in Tahoe, CA; with glowing reviews the technology has been added to Woodward at Copper.

Capture, Learn and Create with Woodward at Copper’s Digital Media Lab: Capture everything on the mountain with GoPro day-rentals or have someone capture it for you with a Woodward Video Production Private Session. New this season, Digital Media Lab Clinics, available for ages 10 and up, teach you everything you need to know to put together your own video in a two-hour session led by a Woodward Content Specialist.

New Programming Drives Progression at Every Age
Woodward at Copper Freestyle Lessons: The newly offered Youth Freestyle Lesson bridges the gap between indoor practice and on-snow domination for kids ages 6 to 9 years old. This full-day lesson starts in the Woodward at Copper Barn, then heads to the snow for practice and finishes at The Woodward at Copper Barn facility where new skills are polished.
