To watch some of the best women cyclists in the world compete in the Aug. 22-25 Colorado Classic® presented by VF Corporation, fans will want to make their way to one or more of the 14 Fan Zones in Steamboat Springs, Avon, Golden and Denver, unveiled.

While fans can catch the action from nearly anywhere along the course over the four days of racing, Fan Zones are some of the best spots where spectators can partake in the frenzy of race action – whether it’s a sprint on a straightaway, a fast turn or a steep mountain climb or whether it’s the fans themselves, dressed in costumes, banging cowbells or waving thundersticks.

Many of the Fan Zones are located near the Start/Finish and Bike and Lifestyle Expo in each stage, where fans will find another kind of action with exhibits, vendors, food and beverage, and free family-friendly events on race days.

AUGUST 22 -  STAGE 1 - STEAMBOAT SPRINGS PRESENTED BY SMARTWOOL

Start/Finish Line at Meadows Lot.  Help kick off the 2019 Colorado Classic and catch all the action at the start/finish line including rider sign in, awards ceremonies, a live press conference and a Bike and Lifestyle Expo area.

Oak Creek Sprint.  Come to downtown Oak Creek and catch the fastest women battle for sprint leader, with plenty of parking and local bars, restaurants and businesses primed for action.

Whitewood Drive.  Follow as the women compete for Queen of the Mountain before racing back down to the finish!

AUGUST 23 - STAGE 2 - AVON PRESENTED BY FIRSTBANK

Village Road. Line the sidewalk and make some noise for the final lap as the peloton begins their uphill battle towards Bachelor Gulch, they’ll fly by again on their descent as they race toward the finish line!

Daybreak Ridge Road at Village to Village Trail.  After the 7 laps there’s one more to go -- and what a lap it is. The plus 1 Bachelor Gulch lap!  Encourage racers as they battle it out for Queen of the Mountain while tackling one of Colorado’s most notorious climbs: Daybreak Ridge followed by a swift descent down Bachelor Gulch. This Fan Zone is accessible by foot only and offers a prime opportunity to hike or bike your way to the cheering section on this final lap!

AUGUST 24 - STAGE 3 - GOLDEN

Start/Finish Line on Washington between 12th and 13th. Send off the riders in style under the iconic Golden arch, watch as the peloton flashes by 7 times and be the first to know the winner!

15th/Washington.  Bring your cowbells, line the street and cheer on racers as they begin the short yet steep climb up Washington. The final lap will see racers give their final push as they fight for Queen of the Mountain.

New Terrain Brewery.  In addition to over 15 fresh brews on tap, Golden’s very own New Terrain Brewery offers front seat views as the race flies down 44th Ave. for 7 laps.

Bike and Lifestyle Expo at Parfet Park.  Explore the Bike and Lifestyle Expo area while still keeping up with the action on big screen TVs as the racers head towards the finish line.

AUGUST 25 - STAGE 4 DENVER PRESENTED BY GATES CORPORATION
