2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships to be in Vail Beaver Creek

The 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will take place from February 2 to 15 in Vail Beaver Creek, CO.

The Championships will have an estimated 1 billion worldwide television viewers and an onsite media and broadcast entourage of approximately 1,500 members.

The event is comprised of five men’s and five women’s individual races, along with the Nation’s Team event, featuring a parallel Giant Slalom format. All of the events are free and open to the public:

February 2, 2015: Opening Ceremonies at Golden Peak Stadium
February 3: Ladies Super G at Beaver Creek - Redtail Stadium
February 4: Men's Super G at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 4: Ladies Downhill Training at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 5: Men's Downhill Training at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 5: Ladies Downhill Training at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 6: Ladies Super - Combi at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 6: Men's Downhill Training at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 7: Men's Downhill at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 7: Ladies Downhill Training at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
February 8: Ladies Downhill at Beaver Creek Redtail Stadium
