Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S. It is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. The sport is played both indoors and outdoors on a badminton-sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. Pickleball can be played as doubles or singles, and with simple rules it is easy for beginners to learn. The Hoover Met Complex offers indoor pickleball during our Open Gym hours at the Finley Center.

USA Pickleball is the national governing body for the sport of pickleball in the United States. They provide players with official rules, tournaments, rankings, and promotional materials.
