The XII ISF Senior World Cup Championships were played this past weekend on 15 softball fields in the Roanoke-Salem area.  The preliminary game scores as well as the double elimination brackets were posted on the ISSA Website as the tournament progressed.  All of the division brackets were posted for the public to view shortly after the conclusion of the games on Sunday.  Photos from the event are being posted this week.  Most of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place team pictures are posted.  Check them out at www.seniorsoftball.org.

From July 12-14, the ISSA staff will head down south to hold the ISSA US Southern Championships at Auburn, AL.  Most of the teams that played in the event last year have already entered the 2013 tournament as well as some new senior teams from the Southeast.  The ISSA is still taking teams for the event until complex field capacity is reached.  Teams making plans to play at Auburn should submit their Online Entry Form now to insure entry in the tournament, at this site

The ISSA will also return to Morgantown, WV from July 19-21 for the Mountaineer Senior Classic next month (July).  The Morgantown officials are making plans to show the visiting teams a "wild and wonderful" time at the Host Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights. Tournament details are on the ISSA Website.

The ISSA staff will visit Rockford, IL on July 7 and 8 to review plans for the ISSA World Championships - Central on August 9-11.  Information on this event is available at this link.

The ISSA has partnered with the City of Rockford to bring this exciting new event to the senior teams in the vicinity.  The eight fields at the Sportscore 1 Softball Complex are reserved for the tournament.  Many new teams are expected for this one.  New teams should register their team with the ISSA by using the Online Registration (no charge) to submit their Online Entry Form.  Managers can call Greg Thomas, ISSA Deputy Executive Director with any questions are need for assistance.
