An Outdoor Sports Paradise in Northern California

When it comes to outdoor activities and adventures, Redding, California, is a paradise with endless possibilities. Located right on the Sacramento River, 160 miles north of Sacramento and about a three-hour drive north of San Francisco, Redding offers outdoor options for all ages. This beautiful location, cradled by Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen, has more than 300 days of sunshine a year, cementing the town's claim to being the "sunniest city in California."
