Contract Coverage by CBS will Include 18 Games

Triple Crown Sports and CBS Sports Network have signed an agreement to nationally televise 18 youth and college games live and in HD in 2013. The deal marks the third consecutive year CBS Sports Network will be the primary television partner for TCS.

“Triple Crown has become a valued producer of quality sports programming for live and streaming television,” said Triple Crown Sports President David King. “By selecting our top competitive events for television, we have renewed our contract partner in CBS Sports Network. We expect our relationship to continue to grow over the upcoming year and will look for additional live sports programming in the future.  We are committed to providing quality HD broadcasts, top game matchups, and elite broadcast talent.”

CBS Sports Network will air more than 60 hours of TCS’s premier youth championship, All Star, and All-American games along with coverage of its college basketball events -- Cancun Challenge and Women’s National Invitation Tournament. The first game scheduled to televise is the championship of the Postseason WNIT, April 6. The 2013 schedule concludes with four games during the men’s Cancun Challenge in Cancun, Mexico, Nov. 26-27.  A total of 12 youth games in baseball, fastpitch, and volleyball are included in the schedule starting with the U.S. Baseball Championships in Richmond, VA, July 22, and finishing with the Rising Stars fastpitch championships in Plantation, Fla., Oct. 25.

In addition to the 18 nationally televised games, TCS will also webcast six championship games from three of its premium national events in youth baseball and fastpitch and all non-televised games during the men’s and women’s Cancun Challenge. All games will webcast live on CBSsports.com ULive, the exclusive home for live video and audio coverage from over 130 colleges around the nation and now premium youth events.
