USA Bobsled & Skeleton (USABS) announced Thorne will become its exclusive nutritional supplements partner, bringing the highest level of dietary science to advance the well-being of the organization's athletes.

The multi-year partnership will provide support to USABS, including Thorne's industry leading number of nutritional supplement products with the highest level of certification by NSF International, baseline prevention and wellness markers consisting of blood, microbiome and genetic testing through WellnessFX and educational materials. USABS's athletes will have access to expert health data from Mayo Clinic to support the evaluation of supplement usage and understanding of supplement ingredient labels, manufacturing and regulation.

"Our partnership with Thorne is critically important to us," said Darrin Steele, CEO of USABS. "Thorne will join us as one of our highest level partners. We partner with companies that can actually influence the performance of our athletes, and integrate our partners into our disciplines. This is why a partnership with Thorne is so critical to us. We are now able to offer our elite athletes and extended membership alike a line of nutritional supplements that is unmatched in its quality and efficacy. The multi year vetting process by the U.S. Olympic Committee, as well as Thorne's close working relationship with the Mayo Clinic confirmed our confidence in Thorne. We now can work with our nutritionists, coaches, and athletes about the safe and effective use of nutritional supplements."

As part of the new relationship, a health and wellness section will be located on the USABS website, www.usabs.com, featuring a collection of educational and informative articles to serve USABS' entire athlete community.

Thorne will also provide USABS' members with a discount on all products found through USABS' website and at Thorne.com.

"Thorne is extremely excited to be a partner of USABS," said Paul Jacobson, CEO of Thorne Research. "The more you understand about this sport, there more you understand how finely tuned these athletes need to be. This is a program who understand the value of nutritional supplements in their training and competitions, and we want to be an integral part of their success. Thorne will work diligently with the coaches, nutritionists and athletes of USABS to provide the finest quality products to maintain peak performance for these special athletes."
