Colorado Springs Visitors Bureau Announces Line-Up Changes

New Hires, Staff Title Changes Part of CVB’s Good News

The Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) announces a number of new hires and staff title changes in order to better serve those bringing events to Colorado Springs. Contact information for each new individual follows the name and title information.

Allison Weist
Allison Weist has filled the CVB’s Partnership Coordinator position. Weist joined the organization in September with an extensive hospitality background holding positions in business development, sales, accounting and as a front desk representative. Originally from New York, she moved from the Omaha, NE area to Colorado Springs in 2011. She will provide support for the Director of Partnerships & Events as well as organization partners, sales efforts and event planning. Allison@VisitCOS.com, 719.685.7621. 

Rio Porter
Rio Porter has been hired as the Sports & Group Sales Coordinator. Porter has a background in sports with her time at the Bradenton, Florida Area Sports Commission, a division of the Bradenton Area CVB. After visiting Colorado Springs multiple times as a child, she always wanted to live in the area and moved in March of 2013. Porter joined the organization shortly after in September. She holds a BA in Public Relations from the University of South Florida. She is responsible for assisting the Senior Sports Sales Manager with attracting new sports opportunities for the region and maintaining existing relationships with returning sporting events. Niki Miller
Niki Miller, formerly the Marketing Coordinator, has filled the position of Online Marketing and Publications Manager. Miller joined the CVB in March, 2012 from an internship with Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She holds a BS in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Denise Noble
Denise Noble, formerly Partnership Coordinator, has filled the position of Marketing Coordinator. Noble joined the CVB in March, 2012 from Current. Her main position responsibilities include supporting the VP of Marketing & Partnership, the Director of Communications, and the Online Marketing & Publications manager.
