The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) mobile application for its 2018 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament has launched and is ready for fans to download via iTunes and Google Play. It can be located by typing “CIAA Basketball Tournament” in the search box.

The free app was designed in partnership with Aloompa, a creator of innovative products for hundreds of festivals and events including BET Experience, New York Comicon, X Games, Outside Lands, and more.

Fans who download the app will have a chance to win an ultimate CIAA Experience grand prize by selecting the “Contests” tab and completing the listed entry form. The grand prize includes: travel and lodging expenses paid, as well as access to games and official events. Contest ends Nov. 26 (terms and conditions apply).

A few core features the app will include are: ticket purchase and hotel information; an official event schedule from which fans can create their own lineup according to the events they want to attend; tournament bracket; GPS map; performer & event details; stream of conference news and social media posts; points of interest such as restaurants, exhibitors and vendors.

“We’ve created a one-stop shop that will enhance the CIAA Tournament experience,” said Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams. “There are so many exciting parts within the tournament–from games to educational, professional and social events.”
