Facilities
CAM-PLEX
The CAM-PLEX Multi-Events Facilities provide more than 1,100 acres of possibilities. The biggest multi-event space (in total acreage) west of the Mississippi, CAM-PLEX features state-of-the-art venues, staff and versatility to make this the choice location for your next sporting event.
With so many configurations and possibilities at your disposal, the CAM-PLEX has whatever you need to make your event so successful that you’ll be making plans to book the CAM-PLEX annually. The list of events the CAM-PLEX is equipped to accommodate is vast, so chances are if you can dream it, they can host it, whether you’re organizing wrestling, basketball, hockey, equestrian, motocross, indoor and outdoor rodeo and much more.

Southern Campbell County Agricultural Complex
The SCCAC is located in Wright. This newly completed rodeo and agricultural complex has indoor and outdoor arenas, both with roping chutes, bucking chutes, beachers/seats and concessions.
Baseball/Softball/Soccer
Whether you’re hosting adult slow-pitch softball or competitive youth baseball, the brand new Energy Capital Sports Complex is your home for baseball and softball events. This space is comprised of 320 acres of land which will be developed into Wyoming’s premiere fields, including four softball fields (completed) and 13 soon-to-be-completed baseball fields. Equipped to host adult, youth, recreational and competitive tournaments, this field will wow participants and spectators and make organizing the perfect event seamless.
In addition, Bicentennial Park in Gillette has six youth baseball/softball fields as well as six soccer fields.
Recreation and Aquatic Centers
The Campbell County Recreation Center features a a eight-lane, 200-meter indoor track large enough to host NCAA Division 1 indoor track meets, while the Campbell County Aquatic Center is home to an indoor Olympic-size swimming pool. Both of these impressive facilities feature accommodating and friendly staff eager to make Gillette your new home for your indoor track or swimming events.
The Wright Recreation Center can host basketball, volleyball, wrestling and many other sporting events.

Attractions
Devils Tower, one of nature’s grandest rock formations, is a must-see for any visitor. Looming more than 1,200 feet above the serene Belle Fourche River and northeastern Wyoming plains, Devils Tower is rich with culture, history and natural beauty. Open year-round, each season provides breathtaking scenery. Visitors can choose between eight miles of trails near the monument to hike. The most popular option is a 1.3 mile paved path that circles the formation, while other trails lead in and out of the surrounding forrest and terrain. The area wildflowers are exquisite, while bird and animal lovers should always be on the lookout. Those interested in a more structured, informational experience can take a ranger-led tour of the monument that includes a 90 minute walk that overviews the geological and anthropological history of the area. And for the truly adventurous, Devils Tower is a climbing mecca.
Known as the “Energy Capital of the Nation,” coal from the Powder River Basin in Campbell County powers much of the nation. Visitors can experience this energy first hand during summer mine tours, available at Eagle Butte Coal Mine. Tour participants ride in climate-controlled transport busses alongside the massive equipment and learn about the mining and reclamation processes. All mine tours depart from the Gillette Visitor Center.
Wildlife enthusiasts flock to the Wright area to tour the Durham Buffalo Ranch, one of the world’s largest and oldest buffalo ranches. Tour participants can view 3,000 bison on 65,000 acres, and on-site catered ranch meals are available.
