Mar 27, 2018

Welcome to the Badger Mountain Challenge, one of Southeastern Washington's only ultra marathons. Badger Mountain in Richland, Washington is the premier hiking and trail running area for the Tri-Cities, and offers expansive views of the beautiful Columbia Basin. The Badger Mountain Preserve was established in 2005 to ensure that this community will always have open spaces for outdoor recreation.

The 8th annual Badger Mountain Challenge will be held on March 30th and 31st, 2018. This run offers four distances; 15k, 50k, 50 miles and 100 miles. The 100 and 50 mile races start on Friday the 30th, and the 50k and 15k start on Saturday the 31st. This a great opportunity to be involved in a race that has a small town feel, but all the support of a big race.

This will be a fun day for all, even those who aren't competitive and would just like to run or hike the course while enjoying the local ridges, awesome views and open spaces. All entrants can enjoy some post race food after the race.

We will also need volunteers in order for this race to be a success, so please volunteer if you are interested in helping! All volunteers will receive a shirt with the race logo on it and a free entrance to a BMC 15km race in the future, or a discounted fee for the other distances.

Please be sure to provide an accurate email address while registering, as important email updates will be sent to the entrants as the race draws near.

This is also a great opportunity to show your support for the health and fitness of our local community. To get more information on how you can get more involved and be a sponsor contact the race director!
