Dallas Bike Ride to Unite Community in November

For the first-time ever, the Dallas Bike Ride is making its way to Dallas on Saturday, November 4, 2017. A 20-mile bike course will unite the community, where bicyclists can venture around the city by bike, with no cars.

I know this is a ways out, but just wanted to get this on your radar so you can let your audiences know about this inaugural event brought to our city for the first time ever. Also thought you might want to spread the word about this early as we have an early registration option that offers a discounted registration fee, ending on September 1.

Official partners are listed on the website and more details are included in the attached press release. A portion of proceeds raised from the event will benefit two local nonprofits, that have a focus on youth bike education: BikeTexas and Incarnation House.

And with any fantastic community event, there will be a festive get-together to culminate the bike ride in front of City Hall, complete with music and delicious food.
