The Visit Knoxville Sports Commission is proud to announce that the United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association Nationals are returning to Knoxville. All competitions will be held June 14-18 at the Knoxville Convention Center.

Athletes will be competing for a national title in trampoline, tumbling, and double mini trampoline. With trampoline gymnastics being a newer Olympic competition, there is a heightened interest in this rising sport. From beginners through elite, all levels will be competing. "It's always great for our team to host over 6,000 members and their families in a national championship at this level," says Senior Director of the Visit Knoxville Sports Commission Chad Culver. "This is a great opportunity to showcase our city to the world of trampoline and tumbling."

The United States Trampoline and Tumbling Association is over 43 years old. It was founded in 1971 by Larry Griswold and George Nissen (the founder of the trampoline). The U.S.T.A. started out with only about 200 members that competed in tumbling, trampoline, and double-mini trampoline and offered only one division of competition.

This event will take place at the Knoxville Convention Center on June 14-18. The competition will be open to the public, it is a ticketed event. The schedule of events can be found here www.usta1.org.
