Top Spin was filmed largely in the Triangle and features three young table tennis athletes vying to make the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. The road to the Games required substantial time in Cary at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials – Table Tennis and the 2012 North America Olympic Trials – Table Tennis, both of which were held at Bond Park Community Center.
To help provide a table tennis total immersion experience, local Table Tennis Olympian, Diana Gee, will do an exhibition, provide pointers, and share some table tennis war stories.
