Visit Cook County and Lutsen Mountains are hosting the NEW Midwest Extreme Snowmobile Challenge (MESC) Triple Crown series, April 15 – 17. This three-day event is expected to have over 500 riders, divided into three race disciplines: Cross-country, Hillclimb and Hill X with a projected purse of up to $40,000.00. An awards ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at Papa Charlie’s on Sunday.
Spectators will have full access to watch the races and are welcome with advance purchase of a spectator ticket and will also be able to ride the new $7 million gondola at Lutsen Mountains that was unveiled this past winter, weather permitting. Info: 720.347.0311
