Tahquamenon Country Sled Dog Race Coming to Michigan

The Tahquamenon Country Sled Dog Race on January 7, which departs from Muskallonge Lake State Park, features more than 60 teams from across the continent. Classes include four-dog, six-dog, eight-dog and 10-dog races.

The races begin at 9:30 a.m. with a new team taking off every few minutes. Spectators are invited to come out to pet the dogs, meet the teams and cheer them on during this all-day event. Activities include a bonfire and refreshments as well as food and merchandise concessions.
