Johns Hopkins University’s Homewood Field to Host 2018 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Games

Under Armour and Corrigan Sports Enterprises (CSE) announced today Johns Hopkins University’s historic Homewood Field will host the 2018 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse games on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Under Armour recently announced a partnership with Johns Hopkins University, naming the Baltimore-based global performance brand the official outfitter of Blue Jay athletics.

 “It’s a tribute to the event’s reputation and an honor to bring the All-America games to the sport’s most historic venue, Homewood Field,” said Lee Corrigan, president of CSE.

The 2018 Under Armour Underclass Tournament will expand for the second time in three years by adding the CONNY (Connecticut/New York) area as the 12th region for tryout opportunities.

The Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Underclass Tournament will remain at Towson University and contested simultaneously with the All-America senior games. The Underclass competition, open to student-athletes from the graduating classes of 2019-2022, features boys’ and girls’ teams from 12 different areas of the nation with the addition of the CONNY region in 2018. The Underclass Tournament will run from Thursday, June 28th to Sunday, July 1st .

The newly added CONNY region will provide tryout opportunities for boys and girls players from the lacrosse hotbeds just north of New York City and Connecticut. The tournament will have two divisions of boys and girls, The Command Division (2021 & 2022) and The Highlight Division (2019 & 2020), with regional teams from Baltimore, CONNY, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Southwest, Upstate NY, Washington, D.C. and West. Underclass Teams are selected at open tryouts in the specific regions during the months of May and June leading up to the main event.
