Winnipeg Winter Club Women's Professional Squash Championships Start Tomorrow

The 2018 Winnipeg Winter Club Women's Professional Squash Championships are held Thursday, February 1 - Sunday, February 4, 2018.

The pro tournament is now in its ninth year and coming off of having its first ever Canadian winner with Samantha Cornett (#1 Canada) winning the title. This year, Canada's charge will be lead by world number 40 and second seed Danielle Letourneau of Calgary. She will be joined by national team-mate Nikki Todd of Saskatchewan who is seeded sixth for the event.

They will facing tough competition with the likes of Nadine Shahin the top seed from Egypt and last years finalist Zeina Mickawy also of Egypt. The event gets underway at 5:30 pm on Thursday, February 1, where several of Manitoba's top players including Alix Younger, Melina Turk and Anika Alexander will take  on the pros.

Saturday February 3         2:30 pm    Start of Semi Finals
Sunday February 4            1:30 pm    Start of Finals
