Portland, Maine, will host the Major League Triathlon - MLT Greater Portland event, from September 9-11, 2016, in Riverbend Park, Westbrook.

Major League Triathlon bills itself as the first and only professional triathlon league in the United States
Professional Team Racing: Teams of two professional women and two professional men will face off in a Super Sprint Mixed Relay. Each athlete will complete a quick swim, bike, and run and then tag their next teammate in line. The first team to have all four athletes cross the finish line wins.
Amateur Racing: Sign up and come race with us! Sprint and Olympic distance courses will be offered at each event stop.
The MLT Experience: Music, beer, games, interactive areas, and more... MLT goes beyond racing. Experienced athletes, first time triathletes, and even newcomers to the sport can relax and have a good time.
