Kansas State University announced that it has partnered with Boingo Wireless, the leading Distributed Antenna System (DAS) provider serving consumers, carriers and advertisers worldwide, to launch improved cellular coverage at the home of Wildcats football, Bill Snyder Family Stadium, via a new state-of-the-art DAS network.

K-State addressed the unprecedented influx of device usage at athletic events by deploying enhanced connectivity solutions capable of creating an unrivaled fan-first experience – and furthering K-State’s commitment to the Best Fan Experience in the Big 12. The new K-State DAS network, which went through preliminary testing during the September season opener, will ensure fast and reliable cellular coverage both inside and outside the stadium, with the goal of delivering an outstanding connectivity experience to fans.

In addition to supporting robust cellular coverage for Wildcat fans, Boingo is aiming to help K-State enhance team loyalty and engagement through its dynamic content delivery network. The innovative, technology agnostic wireless network can scale to evolve along with fans’ connected behaviors and venue needs.
