The U.S. and JOAD National Target Championships and U.S. Open will be presented at Grand Park, Westfield Indiana, from August 2-6, 2017

USA Archery heads to Westfield, Indiana for the annual National Target Championships. There are several exciting events taking place: the U.S. and Junior Olympic Archery Development (youth program known as JOAD) National Target Championships, which are used for National Ranking for U.S. athletes and the selection of the national U.S. Archery Team. These competitions feature qualification where archers shoot 144 arrows for score. They are then ranked and compete in exciting head to head elimination matches. There will also be the U.S. Open Finals on Saturday evening where the senior divisions will compete in the medal matches in a special finals venue.

Over 1,000 archers are expected to compete at this prestigious annual event, including the World Archery Championships team, World Archery Para Championships team, and archery legends including Olympic medalists and World Champions. Names to watch include three time Olympic medalist and Leonardo DeCaprio look alike Brady Ellison, five time Olympian Khatuna Lorig, Olympian Mackenzie Brown, and World Champions Steve Anderson, Reo Wilde, Jamie Van Natta, and many young new faces breaking out on the international scene in recent years.
