We haven’t had the opportunity to host the State Bowling tournament in many years and are happy to have the chance to host them once again this year. It’s great that our local bowling facilities are contributing to the positive changes happening in this community,” said John Sommer, Don Carter Lanes owner and president. “We are grateful to work with local organizations like the Rockford Men’s Bowling Association and the Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, who are determined to make sure elite bowling groups continue choosing the Rockford region to host their tournaments.”

“It’s been a very dynamic year hosting a variety of sports tournaments in the Rockford region. The great connections we’ve made and the excellent partnerships built are what fuel us to keep pushing the limits in the sports tourism market,” said Nick Povalitis, RACVB sports destination & sales manager. “This weekend will continue to showcase all that our region has to offer to make each tournament a success from beginning to end.”
