Puerto Rico Basketball Event Rescheduled for Ocean Center in Daytona Beach

The San Juan Basketball Shootout, originally scheduled for Puerto Rico, has been relocated to Daytona Beach, to the Ocean Center, Nov. 23-24. The 2017 San Juan Shootout has been moved due to severe infrastructure damage in Puerto Rico caused by Hurricane Maria.

The Ocean Center will host the women’s basketball tournament Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24. The field for the 2017 San Juan Shootout includes coastal Carolina, north Texas, Buffalo, Nebraska, Detroit and Clemson. Games begin each day at 2 p.m. and are open to spectators.
