Delaware’s Oceanfront Bracing for Bicyclists

25th Annual Ocean to Bay Bike Tour to Hit Shore Towns Later This Month

The 25th Annual Ocean to Bay Bike Tour, a recreational bicycle ride attracting hundreds of cyclists, will take place in Delaware’s oceanfront communities on Saturday, April 26.

The ride gives cyclists the chance to try various courses, allowing them to explore Delaware’s bays, beaches and more, from Bethany Beach to Fenwick Island.

All routes begin and end in downtown Bethany Beach at the intersection of Garfield Parkway and Pennsylvania Avenue.  The routes offered include the following (with start times listed):

  • Metric Century: 7:30am

  •  50 Miler: 8:00am

  •  30 Miler: 8:30am

  •  5 Mile Family Ride 9:00-9:30am
