Rocky Mountain State Games Announces Details of Swimming Event

The 17th Rocky Mountain State Games will offer swimmers of all ages the opportunity to compete in the same pool at the Olympic Training Center where Olympic champions Amy Van Dyken, Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin, Katie Ledecky and Ryan Lochte trained for their gold medal performances.

Registration is now open for athletes to sign up for the swimming competition at the USOTC Aquatics Center, Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13. The long course competition is open to athletes of all ages and will be staged by Cheyenne Mountain Aquatics.

Swimming competitors can take advantage of early registration discounts and find all important information at: RockyMountainStateGames.orgSpace is limited and registration for swimming will close on Wednesday, May 2.

The annual Rocky Mountain State Games is Colorado's largest sports festival for athletes of all ages and abilities and will take place primarily over the last two weekends in July (July 20-22 & 27-29) in Colorado Springs, Olympic City USA. 

Medal winners at the 2018 Rocky Mountain State Games Swimming events will qualify to participate in the 2019 State Games of America in Lynchburg, Virginia and the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico (athletes ages 50+ only).

Military Support Program: The Military Support Program has been created to allow active duty and retired service members, their spouses and dependents to participate in the Rocky Mountain State Games with up to a 50% discount off the normal registration fees.
